Leaders Summit

The Leaders Summit brings together a variety of municipal leaders with backgrounds in parks, arts, recreation, and culture to Kananaskis to discuss emerging issues.

The logo encompasses mountains to represent the location of this year's summit, Kananaskis. The theme of the summit is to discuss parks and recreation affairs, so the extra line over the mountains symbolizes a topographic map bridging the theme of parks and professionalism. Within the wordmark, the "A"s were simplified to add to that mountainous theme.

The blue colour represents strength, confidence, and knowledge; which is everything the summit is about. It is a corporate retreat so it is important to give a sense of professionalism. The Leaders Summit will annually be held in the mountain during the winter months so the blue gives a chillier energy.
